I've chosen to change the name of my blog from 'Pithy' to 'Glacial Space'. Brief and to-the-point writing justifies the name pithy, but the absence of any post after 9 months is hardly pithy. Hence I felt compelled to change the name, knowing that I would write eventually, but likely very infrequently. Glacial is presumptuous I know because glaciers, while slow, leave a deep indelible mark. Let's just say I'm hopeful. Why write if you don't intend to leave a mark. I guess one drawback is, if I end up posting frequently, I may feel compelled to change the name again. Naaaw, I'll just chalk it up to global warming!
